Joseph is artist-in-residence with Times Square Alliance

Times Square Arts’ Residency at the Crossroads is a new cross-disciplinary and collaborative residency program, in which artists are invited to experiment and engage with Times Square’s unique urban identity and users. As the fourth resident artist of this program, Joseph Keckler will begin his residency in which he reconsiders the New Yorkers’ supposed rejection of the contemporary Times Square (the associated embarrassment and contrarian allergy towards it) through surreptitious performance.

Joseph holds a cocktail with branch-like fingers, with Director of Times Square Arts Sherry Dobbin, Joe Ahearn, Helga Davis, and Mike Hanf after the After Hours performance, presented in conjunction with Clocktower at The Lambs Club, 2014.
